Genesis

Welcome to the official website site of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Tezpur, one of the prestigious educational institutions of Sonitpur ( Assam ). This centre of excellence which was first established in July 1971 as a defence sector school affiliated to CBSE. It is situated 12 Km North of Tezpur town in Army sector.

This Vidyalaya has the strength of more than 1450 students & 60 staff on rolls and has all along been striving to achieve academic excellence and development in the total personally of the students. It is a three section school with all the three streams Science, Commerce & Humanities (one section each).
